Incredible Steak At A Throwback Restaurant In A Super Hipster Neighborhood

Best, steak, Brooklyn, porterhouse

If you see this and your first thought isn’t sex, you’re not living life correctly

Me: excuse me can I have a steak knife?
Waitress: you shouldn’t need one, the butter knife should be enough
Me: *impressed*
This is the porterhouse for two from DeStefano’s steakhouse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. My favorite part about this steak, besides being one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten, is that it’s served in a restaurant that is a throwback to what Williamsburg once looked like.
I’m not mad at gentrification but every once in a while i need a break from the modern restaurant and this one is exactly that. Wood molding everywhere, photos everywhere, people who work there sound like they’re related to Lea Remini’s accent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The owners of this restaurant are also known for making the dope deep fried ham and cheese calzone at the Feast of Our Lady Of Mount Carmel on Havemeyer in Williamsburg. You know the one, the one where they have that massive statue made of the bones of snitches and people who don’t pay what they owe.
